And we're caught up in the crossfire of heaven and hell.

Okay, so this is THAT song.  Yes, THAT song.  The one that you hear one time and it's stuck in your head for days.  You find yourself humming it, but you're frustrated because you don't know the words yet.  Gotta love it.

I'm spoiled by the free year subscription of XM radio that came with my car.  I've never been much of a fan of the radio. Too many commercials, too many of the same songs over and over.  I'm sure everyone knows what I mean.  But, I've found this station: AltNation on XM that I listen to all the time.

I heard the song "Crossfire" by Brandon Flowers probably a month ago, but I didn't pay attention to it until I realized that's what I'd been humming.  So, upon that discovery, I looked him up.  (Turns out he's actually from the Killers.  I wondered why his voice sounded so familiar).

His solo album titled Flamingo is set to be released on September 14th.  So, I thought I'd check out what the album artwork was going to look like.  Unfortunately, it has not yet been released. Instead, I found the artwork for his single "Crossfire."

I love the simplicity of the design.  The vintage-looking border and the aged paper just grabbed my attention immediately, because of my design preference.  I do think that everyone can enjoy looking at this, though.  The replaced with a gun was just so clever.

I am really looking forward to seeing what the album artwork will look like! :)
